Accommodation is only available to members of The AGC Ski Lodge, Members of The Australian Golf Club and their guests

The lodge has 9 rooms that sleep 2 people in either a king single twin or king bed configuration, Children under 5 can stay in the room with thier parents. Bookings for guests of members can only be made by active members of the AGC Ski Lodge or a member of The Australain Golf club. The member must take responsibility for the guests paying thier account.

ARRIVAL DAYS

FRIDAY AND SUNDAY ARRIVALS

Our Lodge turn over days are Fridays and Sundays. We cannot guarantee pick up other than Fridays or Sundays.

For these turnover days we provide a free luggage pick up service at Perisher, from the Skitude Terminus. If arriving by train please phone the manager from Bullocks Flat to arrange a time for this transport. If arriving by car please give the manager plenty of notice to meet you.

If the manager is unable to pick you up, oversnow taxis are available and no bookings are required.

ALL PICK UPS CAN ONLY BE MADE IF PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE DIRECT WITH THE MANAGER.

AFTERNOON SKI PICK-UP

Ski pick up is usually 4:00pm. There is just one pick up and will be on a first in basis. The times may change from week to week however the manager will inform you of any changes. If you leave your walking shoes in the large green bag in the entry area in the mornings they will be brought to the ski pick up in the afternoon and your skis and boots can be taken back to the lodge for you if you choose to stop for Apres. Please check with management where the pick up point will be each day.

SECURITY

The lodge is fully secure. All exits and entrances remain locked from the outside at all times. Entry is by the main front stairs only and you will require the password entry code for the door security keypad. This entry code is changed regularly for extra security and you should obtain this code by contacting the Manager 0411 172969 Each room can be locked individually however the Manager retains the keys to avoid any keys being lost on the snow. There are also CCTV cameras on the fire exits, the main entry and the stairway / corridors.

WiFi

All rooms have free WiFi, and you can use the WiFi anywhere in the lodge. The network is private so you will need to get the password from Tracy.

ROOMS

The rooms have

a Split King bed. Can be converted to king or twin.
their own en-suite
all linen and pillows are provided.
their own heating control.

The NPWS and our lease limit the number of people per room to two (2) people except for children 5 and under.

SHARING A ROOM:

Families with an "odd" number of people (e.g. 3 and 5 family members) and individuals staying by themselves must appreciate that due to the limited number of beds one member of the family (or that individual) MAY be sharing a room (depending on availability).

For School Holidays families with three children may find that their children will be sharing one room. Every effort is made for your comfort.

CHILDREN

For 0 to 5 year olds facilities are limited, guests are respectfully requested to control their children at all times. If all rooms are taken by adults or other children over 5 then children under 5 must share a room with their parents. If there is space available once the booking has commenced children under 5 years of age may have their own rooms however the full room charge will always be levied. The manager will inform you if this is possible once you arrive.

SMOKING POLICY

There is no smoking anywhere within the lodge. Smokers are welcome to use our balcony, as long as all doors and windows are closed and butts are disposed of properly.

MEAL TIMES

Please note that meal times may be subject to change by the manager according to the circumstances in the lodge during the week, but generally they are:

BREAKFAST             7:30am - 8.30am (hot) 9:00am (cold)
LUNCH                      lunch is not available in the lodge, there are many options on the mountain and in the centre
APPETISERS from 5:00pm
DINNER                    6:00pm for children / 7:00pm for adults

Beverage: The lodge is not licensed however as a service to our members a selection of beer, wine, mixers & soft drinks is available. While the food is included in your accommodation price, the cost of beverages is to be reimbursed, and paid to our manager prior leaving.

Thursday Nights

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED ONE NIGHT DURING THE WEEK USUALLY THURSDAY (this day may change)

There is takeaway and casual dining available at The Man from Snowy River Hotel nearby. You can also take advantage of the local restaurants eg White Spider , Marritz, The Stables, Snowgums. The Management is happy to arrange any restaurant bookings for you.

CHECKOUT DAY

Please vacate your room directly after breakfast on your day of check out. Luggage trnsfer can be arranged with Manager. There will be space to store your luggage if you are skiing and transport of luggage can be arranged to meet you at the Skitube terminal to save coming back to the lodge. You can obtain transport for luggage all day on the usual change over days – FRIDAY and SUNDAY, for any other departure day you may have to arrange Hans Oversnow.

ENTERTAINMENT

There is a bluetooth stereo in the lounge, please be mindful of others regarding volume and note Managers flat is directly below living room. There is a smart TV in the downstairs lounge area, instructions are available or please ask staff before changing any settings. Viewing should be age appropriate to the room.

WORKING IN THE COMMON AREAS

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A HOLIDAY LODGE AND USE OF PHONES, COMPUTERS, TABLETS ETC IN THE COMMON AREAS SHOULD BE RESTRICTED TO ENTERTAINMENT ONLY AND AS QUIETLY AS POSSIBLE PREFERABLY USING AIRPODS/HEADPHONES

PLEASE ALSO REFRAIN FROM HAVING MOBILE PHONES AT THE DINING TABLE. This applies as much to adults as kids.

THE USE OF ELECTRONIC ITEMS IN THE COMMON AREAS IS PROHIBITED TO CONDUCT BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES.

Electronic equipment used for entertainment is acceptable provided that the quiet enjoyment of the other lodge users is not affected. We respectfully request that if it is necessary to use computers or mobile phones that their use be restricted to the privacy of your own room. The common areas are for the use of all members on holiday and it is unreasonable to request children and other members to restrict noise because someone is working. The quiet enjoyment of members and their guests on vacation is a primary objective of lodge policy.
